Do I have to complete my application in all one go?

You can log into the system and update your details at any point. If you wish to submit your application for a particular job, you will need to ensure it is complete before doing so.

Can I submit a CV?

To ensure consistency United Response does not accept CVs unless the advertisement states otherwise. You can however, upload additional information to support your application which should directly address the competency requirements of the job.

Can I apply for a position where there are no vacancies at the present?

You can set a Job Alert which will automatically notify you, by email, when a suitable vacancy which matches your search criteria is placed. This way you will always be notified of vacancies as they arise. If you wish, you can complete an application in advance and then when a job comes available you can send the application you have already created on your account.

How will I be notified of the progression of my application form?

You will receive emails to acknowledge your application and then receive further emails to inform you whether you have been shortlisted for interview.

If I get an interview, how do I book my interview slot?

Once you have received your email notifying you that you have been shortlisted and are required to attend an interview, you will be asked to log onto the system to book your interview slot.

Simply log onto the system, input your username and password and book your interview time. Once you have booked your interview, you will be sent a confirmation email.

Can I change my username and password?

Yes, all you need to do is log onto the account and change your details, then confirm.

Do I need an e-mail address?

You will need an email address so we can send you emails detailing the progression of your application, for this reason, it is very important that you input your email address correctly.

Can I submit a paper application?

Yes, you can still submit a paper application. However, we would prefer you to apply directly whenever possible.

If I get stuck completing my application form is there someone I can contact?
